Come annunciato recentemente dall’ultimo development update, in questi giorni la Reiza Studios ha rilasciato Automobilista 1.2.0 introducendo, a sorpresa, un contenuto che strizza l’occhio verso iRacing. Gli sviluppatori del simulatore brasiliano hanno infatti aggiunto la Formula Dirt che per certi versi è molto simile a quella che attualmente stanno lavorando su iRacing. Con l’occasione, hanno inserito anche un nuovo circuito sterrato, quello di Ascurra.

Con Automobilista 1.2.0 viene rilasciata anche la serie ufficiale Formula Truck, gratuita per coloro che avevano comprato questa serie in passato su Steam oppure per coloro che hanno acquistato il Season Pass. Tutti gli altri invece per poter guidare i camioncini dovranno pagare 6 euro per questo DLC.

In termini di caratteristiche tecniche, l’ultima versione del gioco viene migliorata soprattutto sull’intelligenza artificiale, la quale è stata ottimizzata in numerose circostanze. Di seguito vi lascio il changelog ufficiale:

  • Fixed bug causing AI cars to take on full fuel tanks in timed races rather than properly estimating the right amount
  • Added a function to prevent AI cars from taking fuel in pitstops when the series does not allow refuelling
  • Adjusted points system for F3, Super V8, Boxer Cup, Supertruck, F-Trainer series
  • Added option to customize number of warnings (range 0-100) for track limit violations before penalty is triggered (options both in-game & Dedi tool)
  • Added support for Formula Truck Speed Trap rules (switch on and off from rules menu)
